From the reviews
I have been dancing since I was 3 but been dancing here since I was 9 (I danced until 6 but then I had a break from dance because I had a surgery and I wasn’t able to dance) we tried several studios but this one is the one I loved the most. They offer: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip hop, lyrical, and modern.
I've been dancing here since I was in kindergarten and I did tap for 2 seasons, but I've been on and off. I got back into it last year and did jazz. This year I'm doing jazz and ballet and I love it! My sister has been doing rap since 5 th grade and she is in the advanced now.
This studio is full of wonderful teachers, students, and staff. My family has found ADA to be a warm and welcoming environment to study dance. The students are given opportunities to challenge themselves and grow in many ways. We love our dance family!
We've loved the wonderful teachers and friends at ADA for around a decade. I appreciate the variety of talents here and am so grateful to have classes available for all my kids and myself.
Your first ballet class at Academy of Dance Arts
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
