From the reviews
We are in year two of our involvement with Allegro and I just can't say enough nice things about it. My son has taken drum lessons with THE Paul Norris who is amazing at relating to kids and imparting his wealth of knowledge.
We love Allegro and everything they represent. We need more music and the arts! These folks are talented musicians and excellent teachers. My two children have been taking lessons here - piano and guitar - and we would highly recommend Allegro.
Allegro is simply amazing. I have learned everything I know about music here, and the teachers are very tallented. I take cello, guitar, piano, and drums here. I used to take ukulele, but I moved on. The teachers are very nice and flexible in how they teach you.
All the instructors and staff are helpful, encouraging and supportive. More importantly, the school has very skilled instructors that work with children who wish to pursue music as a career path. They offer so many options in music, theatre, and visual arts. Allegro is a wonderful place to explore the arts.
Your first ballet class at Allegro Community School of the Arts
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
