“The teachers are incredible and make sure my daughter feels safe, comfortable, and excited for class, thank you Mrs Darlene and Michelle!”
“One of my biggest pet peeves for children's dance programs is the over-sexualization of young teens with their dancing.”

From the reviews
As a young father, my wife and I gave our daughter a pink plastic dance bar with the foot mat for Christmas; she was 3. My wife enrolled our daughter at age 4. She danced for a year; then quit. A year later, our daughter decided to try it again.
I have taught at this studio for 14 years and enjoyed every moment of it. Not only are the teachers caring and fun they are also top notch dance professionals, full of knowledge and provide exceptional training in ever single class and level.
My HS Senior started dancing at ADA at age 8 after leaving another studio for quality reasons. She is a member of the company and ADA has become her second family. While they are technically a competition studio, and are very successful in that respect, they always put the health and safety of their dancers first.
So grateful for this studio, the owner, and all the teachers. This is a supportive studio, where the dancers seem like family. My young daughter always feels like she’s accepted by her peers and the “big girls”, and the support gives her a huge boost of confidence.
Your first ballet class at American Dance Academy
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
