From the reviews
I have an extremely happy 4 year old who didn't want to leave & it was only open house today. She loves you already & we're so happy to have a dance family! We searched long & hard for the right place and THIS is "IT"! 1 year later- we still love it😍
The owner Breanna is very nice and you can always talk to her and solve everything, all the teachers are very friendly . The dance studio is always clean and there is a place where you can sit and wait for your children. (comfortable couches and AC) They have a large parking lot which is a bonus !!!!!
We have finally found our dance home :-) We love AACDC and our dance family. They focus on proper technique versus just "cute stage presence". The instructors are committed and Breanna, the owner, goes above and beyond to see every dancer succeed!
They truly care about the children at this dance studio. Great staff and wonderful facilities!
Your first ballet class at Arts Academy of the Carolinas
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
