From the reviews
My daughter has been attending Ballet Elle since the beginning of summer, and she absolutely loves it! She adores Mrs. River, always excited to go to class and even draws little presents for her.
Even though my daughter hasn’t started classes yet, I already feel so confident and excited about being part of Ballet Elle, and that’s entirely because of how amazing their customer service has been. From the very first message I sent, they’ve made everything feel easy, welcoming, and stress free.
Hi! My name is Ava and I’m a fellow dancer at this studio. Firstly I want to start off by saying how amazing the teachers are. They are so sweet and they are very helpful! Miss River is a very kind woman and she’s been so supportive this past year and past 2 weeks I’ve been going to this studio.
My daughter has been going there since last year and we love it! Despite being so young she is actually learning actual ballet terms/poses and enjoys classes every week! Ms.River is very talented and patient with the students, and they all adore her.
Your first ballet class at Ballet Elle
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
