From the reviews
Great studio for all types of dance instruction from social dance to competitive dance with experienced teachers. Lots of social events as well n great Friday night parties.
This place was great! I was very skeptical at first cause of the location and the how it looked from the outside. That famous phrase has time and time again bitten me in the butt. "Don't judge a book by the cover". So true. So my wife and I came to this place with a group of people from my ward.
This is a great place to take your date to on a Friday night. You’ll be your partner’s hero if you do. They have a fun dance and a lesson before the dance. Our night was The Great Gatsby themed. The team there was really nice and made it a fun experience.
They welcomed me and my students through rough times. They follow through our agreements in a very professional manner. They have beautiful dance rooms, and what I love the most about Utah Ballroom is that the owner, Martin, and all of his staff members are very friendly. Highly recommended!
Your first ballet class at BallroomUtah Dance Studio
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
