From the reviews

Bella Ballerina is amazing! This is my daughter's introduction to being at "school" and it has been a wonderful experience for her to socialize with other children and her teacher/s. Ms Gabby R and Ms Lauren are amazing in their field. They have their own teaching styles and we love them both.

We LOVE Bella Ballerina! The themes are fun for little kids and makes them engaged. There is a solid routine to help set up dancer success and predictability. This was such a great first dancing experience for my daughter who isn’t quite 2 yet.

★★★★★ — Teresa, Nov 2024

A great studio to begin a child's love for dancing. I was uncertain, initially, because I began dancing at serious studios at age 4, and thrived in that environment, but Bella Ballerina was a great introduction to dance for my daughter.

We've been with Bella Ballerina for a year now and the experience has been superb. Our teachers, Ms. Liliana & Ms. Mina, were absolutely wonderful. They made every class enjoyable while also teaching the essentials of ballet. My daughter has shown tremendous growth and we are very thankful for that.

Your first ballet class at Bella Ballerina

Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.

Ballet is for every age and every body. If you're returning from an injury or have a health concern, mention it to the teacher before class so they can offer modifications.
