From the reviews
Tamara and Ruben are absolutely phenomenal! It is totally obvious that they put their heart and soul into the studio, and everyone who participates in their classes. I have been dancing there for over five years, and now call the studio my home. If you join, be prepared to gain a new, welcoming family!
My daughter has been coming to Black Box Studios since they opened many years ago!! They are family to us and we wouldn't choose any other dance studios !! Tamara and Ruben as the owners have been nothing but amazing coaches to my princess and all the kids in the studio.
Nago is a diamond in the rough. In addition to the supportive and positive environment they create, Ruben and Tamara are top notch people and pour all of themselves into their students. The heels class is always a fun time and Tamara is the best Zumba instructor you’ll find!
I’ve been coming here for a couple of years now and I can proudly say that they’re like family highly recommend if you want an awesome dance family!
Your first ballet class at Black Box Studios Miami - Dance & Movement
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
