From the reviews
My training has improved a lot switching studios. As a dancer from Makkai, to Blanco, my training, my passion and my dedication to dance has grown to another level of dancing I thought I could never do. Blanco has proved me wrong. The training here is intense, but it pushes me into becoming a great dancer!!
This is such an incredible studio. The community created by both the dancers and the teachers is so supportive and welcoming. The environment is the perfect mix of professional training while still making sure everyone is having fun. I grow so much as both a dancer and a person every time I step through the doors.
I've been to a few studios before, but Blanco Ballet Academy is on a completely different level and honestly it's because of their teachers. you can just tell they genuinely care about every single student. They're patient, super knowledgeable, and actually make class fun while still keeping it serious and focused.
Such an amazing studio, all the teachers are so professional and have given me great guidance and support.
Your first ballet class at Blanco Ballet Academy
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
