Bloom dance studio is exceptionally wonderful in every way! This is our daughter’s second year dancing at Bloom and we are here to stay. Everything from the modesty presented to the way people are treated is top notch. Bloom truly feels like one big happy family and that is something special that can be hard to find.
Another beautiful Bloom studio. 2 spaces for class and a large lobby area for parents. Windows and French doors to view your dancers. The studio hosts at every Bloom location are top tier. They greet every family and student, ensure the students are properly checked in, and are on top of admin. duties.
Highly recommend Bloom Dance Studio! My daughter is four years old and this is her very first dancing experience. Of course she was shy at first, but the instructor noticed that she needed a little help coming out of her shell and came over, took her by the hand and dance with her.
This is our second year with Bloom and we are so excited to be back! We are very happy with all the extra measures being taken for Covid! Thankful we are able to get back into the dance studio. Highly recommend if you are looking for a dance studio to join. You will love what Bloom has to offer.
Your first ballet class at Bloom Dance Studio - Elkhorn
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
