From the reviews
Amazing Art Nuevo building creates special atmosphere. World-class performances especially modern ballets, in my opinion. Fall Experience was a hit - looking forward to see their Spring Experience. Nice to see these quality of art in Boston.
This by far was the best Romeo and Juliet I've ever seen that includes movies and plays. The way they were able to act without speaking words through their dance and body gestures was phenomenal. Highly recommend.
Absolutely stunning ... the BEST Swan Lake you've ever seen! I would put the Boston Ballet company up against New York anytime ... they're just so good. The ballet was flawless, the Orchestra was enveloping, the theater is nothing short of impressive. You MUST experience it!!
What a beautiful historical place to be house for the Boston Ballet. Great staff members, merch table, bars with a variety if drink choices. I think all seats have pretty good value. A must visit for history and ballet lovers
Your first ballet class at Boston Ballet
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
