“The class is perfect for the adult beginner.”
“Most schools only catered to kids, or if they ran an adult program, it was more of an exercise class rather than a serious attempt at teaching ballet.”

From the reviews
One of the items on my bucket list was to take an introduction to ballet class. Finding a serious school that would accept an adult, beginning student was a challenge. Most schools only catered to kids, or if they ran an adult program, it was more of an exercise class rather than a serious attempt at teaching ballet.
Brandi Rae’s School of Dance is the welcoming, fun, clean, and safe environment for any dancer at any level. The teachers are committed to and passionate about their work and aim to accommodate the needs and levels of all their students. I have nothing but positive words for the teachers and the studio as a whole.
You have to take a dance class with Brandi. Anything that much fun ought to be illegal. 😁 Adult Tap is the thing I look forward to every week. I'm a man, over 50. The class is perfect for the adult beginner. We dance a lot.
Brandi is a LIFESAVER! We were taking dance lessons for our upcoming wedding for months and they just didn’t come through. I was recommended to Brandi by a friend and she did NOT disappoint. She had us dancing and choreographed a beautiful dance for us on the first day!!
Your first ballet class at Brandi Rae's School Of Dance
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
