From the reviews
Broadway South has truly become a second home for our daughter. After dancing for several years at another studio, we were unhappy and decided to change. We are so glad we made the change because Broadway South Dance truly is the place to be!
Broadway south is like our home away from home. My 11 year old daughter has grown up in the studio since she was 2 and they have helped shape her into not only a strong dancer, but an amazing human. Her little sister is following in her footsteps because she sees how much her big sister loves it.
There’s SO much I could say about this studio!! This is our home away from home. My 9 year old daughter wouldn’t have it any other way. She started here at 2 years old! Broadway South Dance Studio has been our home for 7 years & we’re already registered and looking forward to the 8th!!
Both my daughters LOVE Broadway South. The owners and dance teachers truly care about their dancers. We highly recommend.
Your first ballet class at Broadway South Dance Studio
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
