From the reviews
My youngest daughter is currently enrolled at CC & Co. I first heard about them when I was a nanny, around 15 years ago. As someone who majored in child development, I was always impressed with the way the teachers spoke to the students.
Absolutely love CC&Co. Between my two girls, we’ve been there 8+ years. Ms. Michelle was such a joy when my youngest was in her class. Now, she adores Ms. Lindsey who has helped her through her anxiety about galas and competitions.
My daughter started dancing at CC & co with Mrs. Charlene when she was 2. She is now 8 and she’s fallen more in love every year. She always looks forward to dance day. But as a parent I’ve watched her come out of her she’ll and blossom into such a confident young lady.
CC & Co has been a family to us the moment my daughter started dancing in their pre-k program. Ms. Charlene was her teacher then, and again when she moved up to the grade school program this year. Ms. Charlene is whimsy personified, and I’m convinced she puts actual magic into her dances!!
Your first ballet class at CC & Co Dance Complex
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
