From the reviews
Update: it’s her last year and my heart is excited to see her next adventure but sad to leave this great dance community. CSDA has gotten her ready for her next dance adventure ar Clemson University and without the foundation provided by the staff (Maegan, Melissa and Rebecca) she would not be the dancer she is today.
We changed studios a few years ago and quickly found our new home at CSDA. The dancers, instructors, and studio owner were so welcoming to my daughter and she was so excited to be a part of this amazing studio. The focus and attention to detail for technique is unmatched.
After 10 years on a competition team at another studio, my daughter transitioned to Center Stage two years ago, and the results have been incredible. Her technique has reached a new level, and her acro skills are significantly cleaner and more precise.
We’ve been at CSDA for almost 8 years now and love it! My daughter continues to love dance while getting to be part of a team and build relationships. She is challenged in classes and encouraged by her teachers to set goals and work hard to reach them. An amazing studio for sure!
Your first ballet class at Center Stage Dance Academy
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
