From the reviews
My daughter just did her first online class today, and absolutely loved it. She's six years old and full of energy, and she actually took it seriously! I think it really helps to see both an adult teacher and another child (who is amazing, by the way) in the lessons.
My daughter Maria (6) participated in a live class online and it was wonderful. The instruction was clear and accessible. Very positive. The quality of the instruction gave my daughter the courage to try something challenging, and she really surprised herself.
Cleveland Inner City Ballet has put together an online FREE program for Dancers far and wide. I cannot even express how happy my daughter was to have some normalcy in her day. She truly loves dance and having her class cancelled was hard for her so being able to practice dance at home made her so happy!
So happy to have come across this business during this lockdown they have put together an amazing free only weekly virtual ballet lessons through their Facebook platform . We just joined on today and my 4year old is in love. The teaching style is excellent easy to understand and I would recommend this company
Your first ballet class at Cleveland Inner City Ballet
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
