From the reviews
Gorgeous, light and airy studio. Welcoming, knowledgeable staff. You can't help but smile when you walk into Coastline. Miss Sam is patient and kind with the little ones, yet you can tell she still cares deeply for technique and the art of dance.
Coastline dance has been an amazing place for my daughter to take her first few dance classes (she is 4 yo and took the 6 week "tiny but mighty" and absolutely loved ballet and tap!) She also took the hip hop class and enjoyed that as well.
My 2 year old daughter loves going to ballet here. It’s her first time doing a dance class and it has been nothing but positive! Even when she has her little moments of emotion, the staff are there to make her and the other little ones feel right at ease. Been a 10/10 experience and highly recommend☺️
Welcoming, professional, casual, and fun. My daughter is taking two classes with two different teachers and has enjoyed her experience so far. The portal makes payments easy and I feel safe when she is there. Looking forward to seeing her growth over time.
Your first ballet class at Coastline Dance Academy
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
