I really love the 2/3 year old "Dance With Me" class offered by Creative Motion Dance. It's a really upbeat and fun class! Kennedy and I get to build an even stronger bond and have fun making new memories♡ It's nice to get to know the studio, the instructors, and atmosphere before sending your baby on a new adventure…
We Love Creative Motion! They offer some great classes that aren’t traditionally offered other places, and really work with the kids. We especially love the Acro class, and Art class. Where else in a small city do you find a kid’s art class? It is amazing and the one activity he really looks forward to.
My daughter started dance in 2007 with Creative Motion and graduated in 2023 with loads of dance experience. But more than that, she learned how to make new friends, deal with disappointment (competitions that don’t go your way), celebrate wins and gain unparalleled self- confidence.

Your first ballet class at Creative Motion Dance
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
