From the reviews
This is my 12th year dancing here at this studio, and I whole heartedly believe it’s the best one you could attend. It was my very first studio I attended and will be my very last (I graduate this year). I have absolutely never wanted to go anywhere else in my whole life. Never even considered it.
10 Stars! The Dance Academy is a family owned and run dance studio that has been around for over 50 years. It has been passed from mother to daughter and the granddaughter is now a teacher here. The director/owner, Keri is an amazing human. She keeps the studio very organized and treats everyone like family.
We have been at this dance studio for almost a year and we’ve had a wonderful experience! The director, assistant director, and the teachers we’ve had (Ms. Cat and Ms. Izzy) have been wonderful for my 4 year old!

Your first ballet class at Dance Academy
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
