Tried out the trial today with my almost 2.5 year old. She’s not the most social and they got her to participate and join in and seemed so happy after being frozen for 20 min lol but All in all, she came home and said she loves to dance and signed her up for classes following.
Both of my daughters have been at DA since they were 2 1/2 years old! We love the sense of community at this studio and how my girls feel like they really are at their second home. The staff takes great care of everyone when they are there!
My daughter dance in this school for almost a year, and the progress that she made is unbelievable. The support system, staff and owners are so dedicated. I am so proud to be part of this school!!! My family has been a DA family for the past 7 years. My daughters love the team and rec classes and my son loves hip hop. The teachers here are amazing and provide the children with so much love. Most importantly, my kids always get the best nights sleep on the days they have dance, which I love most!
Your first ballet class at Dance Attitudes
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
