From the reviews
I grew up dancing at Dance Cavise and am lucky enough to send my daughter there now. Dance Cavise is an incredible institution that instilled in me a sense of confidence that I still carry with me today. Being back there as an adult, I see the same level of nurturing, professionalism that I experienced as a child.
Just want the Folks at "Dance Cavise Studio" to know How very thankful I am to have had my Daughter part of this Company!!!! She has been with him for 6 years and is no going to University of North Carolina and involved with a Major company there.
A second home to my daughters, having started dancing at 4 years old and continued on through High School. Dance Cavise has brought them the joy of Dance, a community of lifelong friends, and a sense of responsibility and giving back within the world they live in.
Our son started dance cavise as he has a love of all things broadway, he was bitten by the Hamilton bug, and we wanted to nurture that. He wanted to improve his dancing for the stage.
Your first ballet class at Dance Cavise
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
