From the reviews
My 4 and 2 year olds were so excited to do dance for the first time. The first two months we all loved it! Facility was clean, staff is kind and organized, and the kids loved dancing. However, once October came, weekly dance classes became all about performance preparation.
My daughter has been dancing at the Dance Depot for years, and now she even helps assist. The staff is the best in the North State! They not only deeply care about your child's experience but also care about teaching them excellent dance skills. The studio always had a positive vibe and happy dancers.
I have observed many classes being taught at Dance Depot. It amazes me how the instructors handle so many students and so many behaviors among these children. It is absolutely amazing to see the performance these children put on at their June recital.
I used to dance here as a kid. I learned how to be a Gymnast and Acrobat, did some Tap, Jazz, Classical, even learned break dancing when this break dance duo came. Elsa and Yvonna were excellent and truly gave me a second home.
Your first ballet class at Dance Depot
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
