From the reviews
Hands down the best studio in the valley. Great fundamentals, great teachers. The owners are truly family oriented and care deeply about all the families. This studio truly cares about developing well rounded dancers who excel as a team and individually.
Dance Republic has been a wonderful, family friendly environment. They have been welcoming to each and every child who has come through our home, whether they stayed or were only with us for a short time.
My five year old was so excited to start dance. She took the kinder Combo class and loved it. The teachers energy and patience was amazing. The one and only issue I had was the small mirror/window that all of us parents had to view our kids dancing.
My 2 daughters(11 and 4) are new to the studio this season and all I can say is that our family loves it here. It is a wonderful studio that makes you feel like part of a family and the staff really love working with these kids and it definitely shows. It has become our second home.
Your first ballet class at Dance Republic
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
