From the reviews

I cannot speak highly enough about this studio and what they have done for my daughter. She has excelled tenfold in her technique and has blossomed into an amazing dancer. I would highly recommend Dance Unlimited to everyone who has a child interested in any genre of dance.

Dance Unlimited is the best dance studio in CT. I grew up dancing here and now am able to share my love of dance with my 5 year old daughter as well as my own students. This studio creates a wonderful family atmosphere. Dancers not only learn dance but many life lessons as well. DUCREW!!!

I've been part of the Dance Unlimited Family for many years now. My daughter was a member of the performing company. If your looking for a studio that teaches dancers that excel in every style of dance then this is the place your looking to send your child.

★★★★★ — Nicole, Sep 2019

My daughter, who turns three in July and isn't yet in preschool, needed a space where she could socialize and gain confidence. Dance Unlimited has been a fantastic choice for her. She absolutely adores Miss Stefanie and Miss Alyssa!

Your first ballet class at Dance Unlimited

Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.

Ballet is for every age and every body. If you're returning from an injury or have a health concern, mention it to the teacher before class so they can offer modifications.
