My daughter has been dancing here for over 10 years. Started out with just a combo class with Miss Jeanne. Now she has blossomed into a competitive dancer with head coach Miss Brianna. She has met so many friends that she now calls family. She loves it here and will not ever think about dancing anywhere else.
My daughter has been dancing at Dansations School of Dance since she was 2.5 years old. From the start, we felt like we were a part of the family. My daughter is now 10.5 years old and she is entering her 4th year on their competition team.
Dansations is great! Jeanne was open to creating an exciting Line Dancing class for special needs teens this summer. The dance instructor Kim, along with her son and daughter who took part to help wherever needed, worked hard to give all the participants a positive experience at a level which they all felt…
My daughter has been dancing at this school for 3 years. Miss Jeanne is so amazing with younger students and really encourages their love of dance. The teachers are talented and love dance as well. The comp team lead by Miss Brianna is amazing! We look forward to many more years of dance!
Your first ballet class at Dansations School of Dance
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
