Daughter has been here since day one. (Actually before Mr. Philip had his own studio.) All the instructors are courteous, kind and have a keen eye for detail in dance. We are treated like family here. My daughter has gone from knowing nothing about dance to being ... well pretty amazing.
I wish we had more time to enjoy this dance studio!! Wonderful teachers, fun choreography, AMAZING recital! The staff are so kind and helpful with any concerns brought to their attention. This was such a fun year for us at Destination Dance Hawaii. 100% recommend for all little dancers!
I attend a Goddess Yoga class at Destination Dance. The class was so moving and gave me a chance to connect with my feminine energy. The dance studio was safe and a beautiful space to enjoy this class. Check out Goddess Yoga on Sunday nights at this amazing studio.

Your first ballet class at Destination Dance Hawaii, LLC
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
