From the reviews
I cannot say enough great things about Diamond Academy of Dance! My daughter has been dancing here, and we are beyond impressed with the quality of instruction and the supportive community. The teachers are incredibly talented and truly dedicated to their students' growth, both as dancers and as individuals.
We absolutely love Diamond Academy of Dance!! Our 8 year old daughter has been dancing with DAOD for 4 years now. This is her first year on team and has loved every minute! I can’t speak highly enough of Diamond! The coaches are absolutely top notch and my daughter has grown so much with them!
The owner is so considerate and truly cares about each dancer! Would recommend to anyone thinking about placing their child in dance whether it be in a recreational class or on the competitive company. Can’t say enough good things about this studio!
I highly recommend DAOD!!! My daughter is a first time dancer and I, myself am very new to dance. The staff here is PHENOMENAL and the absolute best! They answer emails in a very timely manner and very respectfully (as a new dance mom, I have a thousand questions 🤣). The coaches are wonderful!
Your first ballet class at Diamond Academy of Dance
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
