From the reviews
We've been with District Dance for sometime and it is hands down the best experience ever! The teachers are amazing, supportive, and just all around some of the best people! Ms. Breanna choreographed our duo this year and not only is it engaging, but it also challenges the girls to step out of their comfort zone.
As a former dancer/ collegiate cheerleader growing up who is now on the parent side of things I cannot say enough good things! We had our child's first class last week and she loved it. Ms.Mary is wonderful going at her pace as she was a tad nervous while also pushing her appropriately. Everyone was so welcoming.
Just a wonderful studio. My daughter started with the ballet/tap class for 4-5 year olds and has enjoyed herself immensely. The studio itself it clean, cute and very well organized/run. Interactions are thoughtful and well tailored for her age.
As parents of a dedicated dancer who competes at a high level and trains here five to six days a week, we could not be happier with our experience. She absolutely loves what she does, and because she is so committed, we want to fully support her.
Your first ballet class at District Dance
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
