My daughters love going to dance at DDA! My 11yr old has been with the studio since she was three! My other two daughters have taken up hip hop and ballet and tap. Ms. Jessi and the team at Dynamic Dance make you feel like one of the family!
Love this studio. My niece takes ballet dance lessons here, she loves it. The staff is great. Plus Jessica the dance instructor is great with her and with the children. Staff are welcoming when you walk into the studio, it has a positive, professional energy and a fun, family feel.
Our daughter began her dance journey at the age of three with ballet and tap, and it has been a joy to watch her grow into the confident and passionate dancer she is today. Now, at seven years old, she has embraced hip hop with the same excitement and love for movement.
Dynamic Dance Academy in Verona has been such a wonderful part of my daughter’s life for the past three years. She started with the Mommy & Me class and has since grown through ballet, tap, and now hip and flip/acro. Miss Jessi and her team are truly the best—warm, encouraging, and welcoming to dancers of all levels.
Your first ballet class at Dynamic Dance Academy NJ
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
