From the reviews
Every teacher and staff member is very supportive and cares about your dance education, feelings, and future! Everyone is very supportive and caring to each other whether it is the teachers, students, or dance parents.
My daughter's first dance experience has been beyond amazing because of this dance studio. She is 4 and the tiny tots class was more than just a dance class to her, she looked forward to it every Wednesday and counted down each time.
The quality of the dance instruction is incomparable. The team of instructors are very knowledgeable, caring, and talented. I was so impressed with how much my 7yo old learned in 3 years, that I decided to take an adult jazz class here and it has been a blast.
My daughter has been dancing with Effusion Dance since they opened their doors in 2020. And previous to that she was under the instruction of many of their teachers. I cannot say enough about the technique, passion, care and individual attention they provide their dancers!
Your first ballet class at Effusion Dance Center
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
