From the reviews
Elevé Performing Arts Center has been a part of our lives since our daughter took a week-long dance camp when she was 4. Not only did she have a blast, but we were blown away by the skills she learned in one short week (which far surpassed the skills she had learned the entire previous year at another dance studio).
I highly recommend Eleve and their preschool program. Their teachers are amazing with the kids, make it fun and understand age appropriate behaviors and challenges for pre schoolers and Kindergartens.
Great dance studio for recreational dancers!! It's been great for my 3 and 7-year olds.
Although we don't have a child in Eleve's dance studio, we have seen the results of what happens to those children. Our office window is a couple doors down and we get to see the excitement on the faces of all the people going into the studio, both the children and the adults.
Your first ballet class at Elevé Performing Arts Center
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
