Our 3 year old is in the Enchanted Beginnings class with Ms. Meg and we have had the best experience! Since she was two years old, my daughter has been in ballet/tap with Elite. She enjoys going, and the dance coaches are amazing! Classes are organized and structured.
My daughter recently started her sixth year dancing at Elite Dance Academy. Elite has become a second home to her, a place she looks forward to going to multiple days each week. The growth she has made in her dancing has been significant.
I started bringing my daughter to Elite in 2017 when she was 3 years old. She loved ballet & tap - the music, the outfits, the shoes, and the teachers. At the time, my other daughter who was 11, had been in gymnastics for many years. The comparison to the two studios was stark.
I enrolled my two-year-old daughter in Ms. Meg’s dance class, and she has been absolutely thrilled with it! Every Saturday, we eagerly anticipate our dance class sessions. The staff here is incredibly friendly and highly communicative. They have never failed to address any questions or concerns I may have had.
Your first ballet class at Elite Dance Academy
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
