From the reviews
My children are new ballet students, and we are absolutely delighted with Ms. Gabe's instruction and the school. Class sizes are small (around 6 students per class), and Ms. Gabe strikes an amazing balance between expecting a lot of my kids while still making ballet fun and accessible.
Ms. Gabe and her fellow instructors are amazing! ESB has done so much for my son. He has not only grown in strength and agility, but I am happy to see his self-confidence grow as well. The kids in her classes are good friends, because Ms. Gabe encourages the kids to have fun and bond.
Miss Gabe is an excellent instructor! She has an amazing talent for getting the best out of her students in a way that pushes them to grow and strive for more yet supports and encourages them at the same time. My kids love the classes, the recitals, and the instruction.
Our (almost) 3 year old absolutely loves taking ballet here. The teachers and Ms. Gabe are so welcoming every time we walk in, and she was a part of the whole studio’s performance. It was so special and sweet and we can’t wait to continue with our weekly classes.
Your first ballet class at Evergreen School of Ballet - Le Petit
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
