Alius offers a nice, new, clean and relaxing studio environment. The class schedule is diverse, offering something for everyone with a variety of class times. The instructors are engaged and take a personal interest in the students. The support staff is accessible, helpful and involved.
This studio has been my best studio ever... The teachers are the best at what they do. When i am there, it's like a whole new family is their to support me and my dreams on to becoming a amazing talented person. The Art and talent they have shown has moved me, as along with others.
Ok this is going to sound weird I don't dance hear haven't even stepped foot in the building but from the reviews I can tell this is a great dance school and dance is my dream can't wait till I start going here
I know absolutely nothing about ballet but the beginner class if perfect because they work with me every step of the way. The staff are extremely friendly and make learning a fun journey that I'm glad I started.
Your first ballet class at First Coast Ballet Theatre
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
