Fit 2 Dance is an amazing studio where you can grow as a person, create lifelong friends, and learn, practice, and master various dance techniques from amazing and well-qualified staff. F2D is going into its 12th successful season! Each year they help many dancers of all different levels and ages advance their talents!
Absolutely love Fit to Dance! This is my daughter’s fifth year at this studio. If you are looking for a professional dance studio then look no further. This studio is extremely well organized, they have it all down to a science. Knowing what to expect ahead of time is what made me love Fit to Dance!
My oldest takes Gymnastics classes and the price is reasonable but the important part is the safety measures. They have a room specific for gymnastics with a floor that bounces.. no longer do I fear my child falling off a mat. Their instructors are all professionals.
Fit to dance is an awesome studio!!! I’ve been coming here since I was 3 years old and my years here keep getting better and better. Ms Kara, Ms Megan and the rest of the staff here are awesome human beings and do a lot for all of us here. I’ve gotten amazing opportunities from all of them.
Your first ballet class at Fit to Dance Studio
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
