From the reviews
Great experience with experienced teachers. The school is amazing and huge. Their "hall of fame" is beautiful and actually a hallway that is almost 100 yards long lined with trophies and pictures of past classes. Staff are very friendly.
Fusion Dance is a state-of-the-art facility in southeastern Minnesota with an excellent, qualified teaching staff, and a wonderful owner. I grew up dancing recreationally and competitively at Fusion Dance. After leaving for college I found that no other dance studio was quite like the close-knit family Fusion is.
Fusion Dance is a phenomenal studio for my daughter! The instructors are incredibly dedicated, nurturing, and talented. My daughter has grown so much as a dancer under their guidance. The classes are fun, engaging, and challenging - the perfect combination for her to thrive.
Professional, friendly and experienced staff. My child has learned a lot of great dance fundamentals to build upon, and she enjoys going to class. The end of year recital is impressive.
Your first ballet class at Fusion Dance
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
