From the reviews
Just spent the morning a Grace and Pointe for my daughters pointe shoe fitting. Grace was above and beyond the recommendations, and completely made our 2 hour trip there worth it. Grace was the perfect blend of professionalism and personality.
My daughter has always had a hard-to-fit foot, and it got even more difficult when her favorite shoes were discontinued. After a lot of trial and error, a friend recommended we drive to Charlotte and see Grace. I am so thankful we did!
Excellent so knowledgeable. We were in a jam. I had sewn into my daughters draw string in her pointe shoes and I had no clue how to fix it. I called up Grace and Pointe and told Grace what had happened.Grace said no problem come in and I will take care of it. Grace took care of us right away.
Was re-fitted for the first time in 4 years and had the best experience. Grace was extremely knowledgeable and thorough during the fitting and took the time to ensure that I was able to try all available options without pigeon-holing me into a specific brand or shoe.
Your first ballet class at Grace & Pointe
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
