From the reviews
My daughter has been at GSD for over a year now. Since the beginning, the communication and professionalism has been A+. Ms. Jessica is a gem. My daughter does musical theater, ballet, and jazz. The instruction she receives from her teachers is amazing. She has learned so much in such a short time. Thank you Ms.
We have been with Gwinnett School of Dance for 5 years. 3 girls, various classes. We have dance schools much closer to home, but we love the staff and teachers here. The studio is laid back and not too stuffy. Recital fees and class fees are reasonable.
My daughter has been at GSD for over 5 years now. She has had all the teachers and most classes and has helped with a few classes as well. Everyone has been wonderful to her! She has learned so much-not just dance but perservance and other life lessons as well!
My daughters have attended for a couple of years and they really enjoy the classes that they’ve taken. The recitals are beautiful. They have a variety of classes (hip-hop, Ballet, lyrical, etc) so kids can find what they really like. The Tippy Toes classes (3-4yos) are ADORABLE!
Your first ballet class at Gwinnett School of Dance
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
