From the reviews
I'm absolutely in love with this dance studio! I danced as a little girl and was so excited when my daughter came of age to take class. We tried a few other local options and were not impressed with what they had to offer. My family is LDS and we are very conservative.
My daughter is on a dance team here, and has been here since they opened in August. She has been at 2 other dance studios. I went to her first performance a few weeks ago, and all ages performed. I was BLOWN AWAY by her progress--the teachers are amazing!!
Within these dance studio walls my daughter has found joy and community like no other. Every experience I’ve had with the front desk has been pleasant and I’ve seen so much growth in my daughter’s dance ability and self esteem over the years.
I have 3 daughters that have been going to heart and sole for over 3 years now and they love it there! All of the teachers are amazing! I love that they are very organized and the dance recitals are always very professional and so fun to watch! Definitely recommend this dance studio!
Your first ballet class at Heart and Sole Performing Arts
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
