From the reviews
We love Heart n Sole!! My 6 year old has been taking classes for about a year now and she's come so far. The recital went so smoothly and miss Mitzi is great at making sure everything is taken care of. Miss Anna pours her heart and soul (see what I did there?) into every class. In fact, all of the teachers do.
I can’t say enough good things about Heart n Sole. I’m so thankful we found this studio. Everything is so well-organized even the recital we just had ran so smoothly. My daughter started classes late, but the support she got to catch up was amazing. She always leaves class with a huge smile.
My daughter loves the musical theatre class she started this year. Such a good class to get your feet wet in a little of all the arts. Miss Anna is a great teacher and asst director. She is very organized and great with communication. They sprinkle some great activities in as well.
My little one loves going to dance every week. She loves her dance teachers and I can see that, not that she needed much help with it anyway but, her confidence in herself is continuing to grow. Thank you so much Heart N Sole family for everything.
Your first ballet class at Heart n Sole Dance Academy
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
