From the reviews
I enjoy watching my daughter do what she loves. (Wearing pink, leaping over unicorns, dressing up with masks/wings/wands, and dancing) Coach Kelsey is so good with our little ballerina. I love that she builds her up with affirmations while teaching her all the ballerina basics.
My daughter and I just did a tour of the building and classroom before she starts class next week. The sign up process was easy and the staff are really friendly and great with my three year old daughter. My daughter can't wait to start her ballet classes!
My daughter is in the toddler class and it is the cutest thing you’ll ever see! The instructor is patient with the class and makes it fun while learning. You are able to watch them through a mirror so they aren’t distracted. This is definitely worth the cost, my daughter is looking forward to going back!
The staff and owner are helpful and SO FRIENDLY! The facility is always looking immaculate and ready for the dancers. My daughter loves going every week to “ballet school” with her being very young I was apprehensive but they have helped her enjoy every minute of it! We will definitely be signing up for more classes!
Your first ballet class at Inland Northwest Ballet of Spokane
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
