From the reviews
My Grandaughter danced with Intermix for several years and now teaches there part time. She has learned most of her skills by the wonderful instructors there. So loved all of her dance performances. She has now become a UNL Scarlet Dancer. This school has become a very competitive company and received many awards.
We have been with Intermix for the past 5 years and could not ask for a better studio for our girls to take dance from. Not only do they receive the best dance instruction in town, but they are apart of an amazing family. A place where they learn discipline, perserverance, poise and teamwork.
I'm so excited to have intermix moving south!!! My daughter has danced with intermix for 2.5 years and we could not be more pleased. The instructors truly care about each dancer and developing their talent and art. Best in town by far!
I can't imagine finding a better dance company in the Midwest. The instructors, facility, and dancers are all top notch!
Your first ballet class at intermix Dance Company
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
