From the reviews
Enrolling my daughter in dance classes at this studio was the very best thing I have ever done for my daughter. She has grown as a dancer tremendously. She has been to other studios in the area where that was true also, but at those studios she lost her love of dance.
My 2 year old daughter has really loved taking dance at this studio. Her teacher, Ms. Melissa, is great with the kids and my daughter is so comfortable and happy to be there. She pretends to be at dance class all week long! Plus, the classes are affordable, so I'm happy too!
My daughter has been with this studio since she was 2 and is now 6 and on the mini competition team. She absolutely loves her instructors and the collective dancers across all ages.
Our family wanted a creative, fun and kind space for our young kids to learn dance. Ms Kimmy at Dancin Kids was just that- welcoming, a bit more relaxed than many local studios (they can wear what they want to class) and overall a great fit for our family. They involve the older girls, which my kids really enjoy.
Your first ballet class at Just Dance LKN
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
