From the reviews
My daughter Olivia will be entering her third season at the DeKalb JFK! I can tell you that Miss Hannah and Miss April are second to none! My daughter used to be very shy and timid and ever since she started dance she has just blossomed! Not only has she had fun but this has given her a massive boost of confidence!
I LOVE Just For Kix Dekalb! Both of my daughters have taken dance classes at this studio and they both have had positive experiences! The dance instructors are amazing and the dancers have so much fun! Classes are very affordable and age appropriate. I highly recommend this dance studio!
I have been at just for kix for the past 5 years now and I have danced basically my entire life. Never had a bad experience with dekalb JFK and u always feel at home and included when dancing through dekalb JFK.
My daughter takes dance lessons at this location. Overall the instructors are very nice and dedicated to teaching the students a variety of dance styles. The students also have 2 performances per year to showcase what they have learned for families and friends. My daughter enjoys the dance studio and other dancers.
Your first ballet class at Just For Kix
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
