From the reviews
Both of my daughters have danced or are currently dancing at K Studio. We are very happy with the facility and location but are most impressed with the staff. Kelly the owner, is really an amazing person.
My daughters study dance at K Studio and love it. The teachers and staff are friendly and energetic. We started with Creative Movement, which is mostly for fun and exercise, but the classes for older kids are serious. We appreciate the supportive atmosphere and hope to continue dance lessons here for many years.
Best dance studio around! We have attended a couple of other studios in the past and this by far exceeds all others in local Columbus! I took dance growing up from a former Rockette and this studio reminds me so much of the studio I attended when I was growing up.
Great dance studio with an amazing, well rounded staff. Bring your kids here if you want them to have the best technique classes in Upper Arlington. Love it!
Your first ballet class at K Studio
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
