My daughter is 5 and loves going to Kickline dance center! Her coach is so nice and my daughter looks forwarded to going every week! It’s also super affordable and a good start to introducing dance!
I enrolled my two kids, because my elementary school students have always raved about this studio! I have never heard any kid say a bad thing about it, and I have about 500 kids a year. That says something! The owner has been amazing. Her communication is extremely prompt. I don’t know how she does it.
We have been going to Kickline for 3 years now. The owner runs an excellent business and does so much for the kids at each dance and age level. The instructors are incredible with the kids. It has been an awesome experience. I highly recommend this dance studio.
Kickline dance center has become a second home for my daughter. Kickline has taught her so much more than dance! It has taught her discipline, dedication & perseverance. Kickline also promotes positive body image, self expression & confidence! The costumes are age appropriate.
Your first ballet class at Kickline Dance Center
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
