From the reviews
We absolutely LOVE KMC! Our daughter has been dancing here since 2nd grade (she’s been dancing since she was 3). The instructors are fantastic. They do a great job with instruction, choreography, working hard, and keeping it fun!
We highly recommend this dance studio. They emphasize hard work and growth in a fun environment. The owner and instructors truly care about each dancers success. The recitals are professional and entertaining, love the costumes and music selections. When we found KMC it was like becoming part of a family.
Ou daughter has been dancing at KMC for about 8 years. We tried two other studios before this and glad we switched and stayed. The staff cares about the dancers, listens to feedback and strives to have high quality choreography. We’re happy to support this local business.
Both my girls love the teachers and classes. Plenty of optional extra classes so you can be as involved as you want to be. Only one required competition(though several optional) which means you want have to spend every weekend tied up with dance.
Your first ballet class at KMC Studios
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
