From the reviews
All of my children attend Kristi’s Academy of Dance and it is a warm, professional, busy atmosphere where my children thrive. The director, workers, and dance instructors are all apart of the local community- which is important to me. The performances are simply breathtaking.
First day and my daughter cried because class was over. Temps were checked of everyone entering the building. Each group went directly to their designated places, and even rescheduled some classes to make sure everyone is safe.
My granddaughter has been going to Kristi's Academy of Dance for a couple year's an my granddaughter really likes it. The people there are nice.
Just attended my almost 10-year-old niece‘s first recital. I was super impressed! Great job working and teaching these girls! I went with my niece to their open house and everyone was super friendly. It’s a clean and nice building too. Excited for my niece to start her classes next month!
Your first ballet class at Kristi's Academy of Dance
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
