From the reviews
The teachers are highly trained and qualified, and always have your child's best interest at heart. They love your children like their own. The students are inspired to be the best they can and therefore they develop a love of dance. Priscilla and Micaela have inspired my daughter to he her very best.
This is an amazing dance studio with friendly knowledgeable, and experienced dance teachers. My daughter felt so welcomed here the moment she stepped in for her first class! Nice, small class sizes with a variety of class choices!
Very qualified teachers. Ballet instruction is excellent. Technique is important at KDC. Great place and age appropriate instruction for all ages. Students at this studio support one another. Students have an opportunity to be involved in the Nutcracker and other community performance opportunities.
KDC is a family friendly dance studio with extremely well trained staff. If you are looking for high quality dance lessons in virtually all genres, look no further. Your child will not only learn to dance while having fun, but learn to LOVE dance while also being taught superb technique. I highly recommend this studio.
Your first ballet class at Kutztown Dance Center
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
