From the reviews
I would like to comment on the recent "bad review" written about this studio. I have to assume that the review was written by someone that doesn't actual have children that take lessons from the studio, since Linda is one of the most amazing teachers I have ever known.
We absolutely love this ballet studio! The teachers are truly amazing – not only are they incredibly skilled and knowledgeable, but they are also patient, encouraging, and inspiring. They bring out the best in each dancer, whether beginner or advanced, and create such a positive, supportive environment.
This studio was such a lucky find for us. The instructors have gone above and beyond to help my child increase their dance skill. They care for my child and are really invested in his development as a dancer.
My two girls have been dancing at Linda Fenton’s for 7 years and we love it there! They have loved every single one of the teachers they have had! I really appreciate that it is a very professional and classy place. The costumes have always been age-appropriate and never too extreme!
Your first ballet class at Linda Fenton Dance Studio
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
